The Legacy of Batman

Batman is a story of loss, struggle, success and finally responsibility. No other stories have depicted a more moral and forgiving guy than Batman. With the best villain ever created by Hollywood, the Joker, Batman has raised a very important question of morality. The struggle between The Batman and The Joker to prove oneself right is fantastically presented.

    Batman believes profoundly that there is some humane part even in the worst of the criminals and psychopaths. While the Joker is in a firm ground that under certain circumstances even the most noble guy will be immoral. The battle between protagonist and antagonist is purely for their beliefs. The Joker represents the inner devil every person has inside them. The uncontrollable, sadistic, tired figure is the very Joker we see in the film. He is so firm in his belief that he is even ready to give up his life on it. He proves that he is right by converting an all caring heroic Mayor of the city into a disastrously ruined figure and how his views change after that.



   The film is more popular for the Joker than the batman. The dialogues that the Joker speaks are very connecting to the peoples. A lot of teenagers are seen to have their facebook profile pictures of the Joker. This simply shows the legacy the film has.

The Gladiator: Best war movie ever?

       Recently, after watching this movie I couldn't control but write about it. From storytelling to acting and to the incredible war genre; everything makes the film more exquisite.         The spaniard(Russel), a well trusted man by the king during the Roman empire is proposed to be King after the death of that king. But of course, the king has a son. How could a prince living an half of his life waiting to be king someday simply submit to his father's idea? So the prince plots against the spaniard ordering his men to kill him and his entire family and burn his village. If this had gone as planned, well the film wouldn't be existing in the first place and secondly, it wouldn't have been interesting enough.     As the spaniard manages to escape by killing the men of the prince, he ends up being a slave fighter. Review: The Prestige

Released:2006 Budget: 40M Box Office: 110M Counted among one of the best film ever, The prestige is that kind of movie you will want to re-watch. Directed by Christopher Nolan, the movie notably stars Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johnson, Michael Caine. In a Water Tank trick, Borden(Bale) ties hands of Julia under her consent with a riskier slip knot which goes terribly wrong leading to the death of Julia, the dying member also being lover of another crew member Angier(Hugh). The rivalry between Borden and Angier begins here. The film depicts Borden to be in working class and Angier being a high class.  Borden's startup is a solo magic career and hires a silent, mysterious Fallon as an ingeniur; who is later revealed to be his twin giving a different appearance in the public.
